We are looking for a qualified, camp director to join our team for the upcoming summer. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who is enthusiastic and loves helping children. Camp directors create fun and engaging activities that help teach youth important skills and provide guidance in the areas of responsibility, social development and personal growth. Our camp directors enjoy a variety of activities throughout the summer, including hiking, swimming and arts and crafts.

Responsibilities:

• Work with and direct staff in leading activities.
• Gather information about the preferences and personalities of children to ensure everyone has a memorable experience.
• Help children develop interpersonal skills, coordinate group activities and games, and encourage positive relationships.
• Maintain a relationship with the camp counselors and participants to ensure that camp goals are achieved.
• Assist children in following rules, staying on schedule, and maintaining a safe environment at camp.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
